“The Weaving Wall”

Is a 23-meter-wide public art installation currently exhibited at The Park on the rooftop of The Mills, Tsuen Wan. Curated by In Time Of, the project brings to “Memory in Spring” a story written by Chan Wai for The Mills. Through a combination of painting and weaving, visual artist UUendy Lau and the Breakthrough Arts Studio collective depict the story of a female garment worker and the city she helped build.

“I watched the factories sprout like mushrooms after the rain; your hands wove the prosperity and flourishing of this city.”
Chan Wai  “Memory in Spring”
